Objective:  The hundred board helps the child practice the numbers 1 - 100.  It is used to show skip counting patterns as well.

Ages: 4 - 7 years
Control of Error:  Control Chart, child

Presentation:  Roll a rug out on the floor.  Get the container with the hundred board from the shelf.  Using the tiles numbered 1 -10 arrange them in sequence horizontally on the rug.  Place tiles 11 - 20 just below the first line.  Continue until all 100 tiles are placed and a complete square is formed.  Replace each set of tiles into their respective bags and return the work to the shelf.

Extension 1:  Mixing all of the tiles together increases difficulty.

Extension 2:  Use small plastic disks or pieces of paper to cover every 2nd or 3rd, etc tile to see the skip counting pattern.
